Pokka

Pokka make cakes and biscuits. They also serve tea, coffee and herbal tea in their cafe. Relying on high quality ingredients they don't use any artificial colorings or flavorings. Using local ingredients as much as possible they make a small number of cakes and biscuits each day.

The concept

The owner moved to Miyama and started a Pokka cafe here in Miyama although the original Pokka is still going in central Kyoto, their specialty in Miyama is a cookie shaped like a thatched cottage. Built in a western style the cafe is in a nice location with great views of the surrounding mountains
