Miyama Kayabuki no Sato Snow Illumination is an annual festival with lanterns that are made from snow. The whole town is lit up at night and on Saturday night there is a short firework display. The winter air, snow and lit up thatched roofs create a unique atmosphere. Dress warm though. 2015 31st Jan~7th Feb.
